I have learned that an age in which politicians talk about peace is an age in which everybody expects war: the great men of the earth would not talk of peace so much if they did not secretly believe it possible, with one more war, to annihilate their enemies forever. After toying around with the idea for a few days (and numerous requests from many of you) I’ve decided to put together a series of reggae mixtapes. Here is the first installment, International Herb Volume One. Rather than making this a DJ-mix type thing, I’ve opted for simply compiling a few of my favorite songs, one after another, in an effort to focus completely on the individual tracks.
